The Lakshmipat Singhania – IIM Lucknow National Leadership Awards, now in its 15th edition, has recognized the Indian voices of impact, honouring our leaders for their outstanding contribution in the areas of business, science and technology and community service and social upliftment.

Established together with IIM Lucknow, this platform is a tribute to the legacy of Late Lakshmipat Singhania, recognising and celebrating those shaping India’s future – one decision, one breakthrough, one community at a time.

Through its educational arm, the Lakshmipat Singhania Education Foundation, actively supports education, healthcare, and social development initiatives across India.

Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIML)

Established in 1984, IIM Lucknow is one of India’s top management institutions. It plays a central role in nurturing socially responsible leaders through its academic, research, and training programmes. As co-founder of these awards, IIM Lucknow ensures a rigorous and credible selection process grounded in its commitment to leadership and national progress.

A Legacy of Leadership

Launched in 2004 and first presented by Hon’ble President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam in 2005, the Lakshmipat Singhania – IIM Lucknow National Leadership Awards have, for over two decades, honoured changemakers who have transformed India through visionary work.

Every year, six individuals are awarded a trophy and citation under the following categories:

Business

Recognising trailblazers who make positive contributions to India’s business landscape.

Science and Technology

Celebrating pioneers advancing India's scientific and technological frontiers.

Community Service and Social Upliftment

Honouring changemakers uplifting India's communities through impactful social initiatives.

Nominations for the 15th edition of these iconic awards are now open. This is your time to bring to limelight the unsung changemakers of India who have led India to new horizons with their charismatic leadership. You can nominate them as a Young Leader (below 45 years of age) or a Leader in the relevant award categories. The nominee should be an Indian citizen with noticeable public work in the award categories
